Organizing Bathroom Magazines

Written by Nilsa Cleland (last updated May 4, 2021)

Have you ever seen television sitcoms or commercials presenting an actor yelling out to his or her family the consequences that will happen if someone does not quickly return the actor's favorite magazine to its proper location in the bathroom? Has this ever happened in your home? Having organized magazines in your bathroom can avoid such mishaps and provide many days and evenings of peaceful harmony.

Organizing your magazines can add a special touch to your bathroom decor. Here is how!

  • Place magazines in a convenient place where titles can easily be read or seen. Anyone using the bathroom can spot the magazine and enjoy a great reading time.
  • Decorative magazine racks are available to make magazines more accessible to you and your guests. You can organize your magazines by genre, such as hobby or sports interests. Entertainment magazines can also add to the variety of your bathroom magazines.
  • Remember to throw away the old magazines when you purchase or receive you new subscription copy. Re-reading old news may not be entertaining and clutters up your bathroom.
  • Install a bookshelf where you can place magazine clippings or magazine articles. Use one binder per category. As an example, organize a binder for gardening ideas or organize a binder for an effective home entertainment unit.
  • Gutting out a cabinet inside your bathroom can be fun and efficient. Update your cabinet by removing the doors and painting your cabinets with colorful paints matching your bathroom decor. Place extra towels, soaps, and baskets holding bathroom necessities. Use a basket or cabinet section to place your favorite magazines. The magazines are not as visible and can allow you to enjoy your favorite magazine without others manhandling your reading materials.
  • Do you have an old bookcase, wicker stand, or wine rack you have no idea what to do with? Head out to your favorite home improvement store and pick up some paint, wallpaper, or craft paints to design your unique magazine storage unit for your bathroom. Use the shelves or cubbyholes to create the category holder for your magazines. Roll up your magazines to take up less space within your bookshelf or basket for organizing your magazines.
  • Adding scented potpourri to your magazine baskets or magazine holders can provide a pleasant smell to both your bathroom area and your magazines. Excellent smelling potpourri comes in a variety of different shapes and forms to help you create a unique bathroom decor to store your magazines.

Organize your bathroom magazines to suite your individual style. Enjoy having organized magazines while enhancing your bathroom decor. Keep updated on the country's happenings, entertainment and fashion trends, or sports events by having a good grip on your magazines organization within your bathroom.
