Lockers can be found anywhere and everywhere in today's world. Whether you are at the local gym, school, or at the changing room at the plant, chances are you have a locker or know someone who does. The trick is to properly use lockers to store your items. Locker storage isn't all that difficult if you stop and consider a few things before hand.
If you are a member of the gymnasium you may receive a locker where you lock track suits, towels, soaps or whatever you need at the gym before and after exercising. Lockers are popular at airports where you can safely store items you need at the airport but are not taking with on the flight. Lockers can be made of steel, wood or plastic. Plastic and laminated lockers are used in wet climates or at swimming pools where it may be damaged by moisture.
Club members at sport or offices may use their lockers free of charge. At airports, hotels and other temporary over-night facilities you may be charged a fee for the use of the lockers. At swimming pools you may receive a temporary locker of which the key is handed to you for the duration of your stay. Longer hired lockers often is opened using an electronic card. At banks where security is a high priority, you may need one of the bank personnel to open the locker. You have your special key and the banker has another key. The locker can only be opened when both locks are opened together.
Lockers can be single locker units in which case it is larger than bank or tier lockers where the available space is split between the different units. A bank of lockers can be 3 horizontal and a tier 3 vertical units giving you nine separate lockers. The old boring dark grey colored lockers has now been replaced by a wide choice of different color options to suit your taste.
Bicycle lockers at schools, shopping centers, sport fields or at private homes. Laundry lockers at public washing facilities, service lockers used by police and other authorities, military gear lockers and other specialized lockers which may be custom made to hold specific contents. The only time the owner may access a locker is when the hirer is in the rears with payment. Such content may then be sold at an auction based on the provisions of that state's or country's lien law.

Thanks for this informative article; I certainly hadn't thought of all the different types of personal lockers out there. I enjoy all the tips and articles I see on your site.
May I suggest a 'Word of the Day' for you: "arrears," meaning money is owed and should already have been paid, or a debt or overdue payment.
Contemplating the implications of "the rears," though, gave me a chuckle! Thanks for the morning smile.
