Keeping Your Kitchen Gadgets Organized
Even though they may act all excited, and to some extent really are, my family has come to dread the times that I purchase any piece of new electronic equipment. It doesn't matter whether that purchase is a new television, DVD player, computer or even a stereo. The reason for this is really simple and rather embarrassing actually. That reason is due to the number of cables that I have to hook up, and sort through to get that new electronic toy working. Since I don't like getting mad, and I got really tired of my family running for the hills every time we upgraded any electronic equipment, I decided to become a little more organized in how I handled my electronic cables.
I soon found that by just having made the decision to become more organized in how I handled these items, things were a whole lot easier. There are many different methods out there for an individual to purchase and use. While I checked these out, I found that there was nothing really special about them. In fact, I found that I could come up with something just as good on my own, and save quite a bit of money. I decided that the method that I would use was nothing more than just some simple zip ties. While they were simple zip ties, I did make sure that they were all of a different color.
After I collected enough of these ties, I sat down and separated all the different cables on the electronic equipment I was working with, and then zip tied them together. What this means is that I took all the electric cables, and wires that would go to the television, and tie them together. I did the same thing with each of the other pieces of equipment as well. While I was tying each the different electronic cables and wires, I would make sure that they were all color coded. Using a color coding system, I would be able to quickly and easily find the cables to each electronic component. This also comes in handy for when I am moving, or when I have rearrange or upgrade any equipment.
To implement a system such as this, you are going to be able to better organize all your electronic equipment, as well as save quite a bit of money. By organizing your things, such as these electronic equipment cables, you are going to find yourself with an easier time of taking care of your expensive toys. This, in turn helps you save money by not having to go out and repurchase something that you have already paid for once.
